Stay active at Tech Lane Ghent Science Park

A healthy body fuels an innovative mind. At Tech Lane Ghent Science Park, we encourage employees, researchers and students to stay active through a variety of sports initiatives on and around Campus Ardoyen. Sport is not only a great way to improve your wellbeing, it is also an opportunity to connect with colleagues from different companies and research organisations across the park.

Sports at the Park

Looking for a break during the working day or after office hours? Several sports activities are organised on campus throughout the year. Employees can join recurring sports sessions organised by Time-Out, offering an easy and accessible way to stay fit and meet fellow park users. Activities run from September until June.

Park Run

Join our popular Park Run, a community run connecting employees across the science park. Whether you are an experienced runner or simply looking for an active lunch break, the Park Run offers a fun and informal way to explore the campus, meet new people and stay active. The event is organised as a community activity rather than a competition.

Sports Infrastructure Nearby

Several sports facilities can be found within walking and cycling distance of the campus, including Sporthal Hekers, where sports fields can be rented and where local sports clubs are active.

Walking & Cycling Routes

Discover the campus and its surroundings through walking, running and cycling routes. Follow existing routes created by colleagues or share your own favourite route with the Tech Lane community.

Organise Your Own Activity

Would you like to organise a sports event, tournament or wellbeing activity at Campus Ardoyen? The Science Parks team is happy to help facilitate initiatives that strengthen the Tech Lane community.
